Shrikshetra (Puri Dham), a place in Odisha hosts the festival of Sahi Jata that blends spirituality and performing arts. It's a centuries-old tradition. Here, artists depict different episodes of the Ramayan. This 12th Century Festival is similar to folk theatre, but with a religious touch. It is enacted by Jaga Ghara (Gymnasium) artists belonging to seven different bylanes (Sahis) of Puri. “Shrikshetra Ru Sahijata” is all about a journey from the place “Shrikshetra” to its festival “Sahijata”.
