MOTHER and DAUGHTER are left alone in the house to navigate the grief of SON’s unnatural disappearance. As they slowly start descending into delirium, DAUGHTER tries to emulate behavioural traits of he brother, where as MOTHER starts talking to the LIGHT. It becomes DAUGHTER’s responsibility to stop mother from meeting the same fate as SON while dealing with her sorrows.

Synopsis

Soham is an Indian born, London based Writer-Director, an alumna of University of the Arts London (Directing), National Film and Television School (Writing the TV Pilot), Today at Apple Creative Studios and Film London’s Creativity Squared. Love Death and Everything In Between won the ‘Prix Interculturel Award’ at Film School Fest Munich and his films have screened internationally at Kyiv ISFF, London Indian FF, Mumbai International FF, Vancouver ISAFF, and has been distributed online on Disney Plus Hotstar and Movie Saints. He was a recipient of the JN Tata Scholarship. Soham aims to normalise South Asian identity in film, with a focus on familial relations, marginalised identities, the burden of hustle culture and the peculiar human connections that rise out of it. He is in early stages of development with his first feature 'The Sea Urchin' shortlisted for the B3 Hessen Lab, Munich Film Up and Pop Up Residency.
